The Transit Custom can alert you to a potential collision with a vehicle, cyclist or pedestrian in front of you and also while turning at intersections. If you don’t take corrective action, the system is designed to apply the brakes automatically.
The Transit Custom can provide gentle steering support to help prevent the vehicle from drifting off the road or to detect if you’re unintentionally drifting out of lane.
This feature helps you change lanes by alerting you when a vehicle enters the blind spot zone. Cross-Traffic Alert warns of traffic approaching from the sides when the vehicle is in reverse.
Just set your cruising speed and let the new Transit Custom radar monitor the traffic ahead and slow down or speed up accordingly.
The rear view camera activates automatically once you switch into reverse. The 180-degree split view acts like an extra pair of eyes. The camera can reveal objects you might have missed and helps you navigate tight parking spaces.
The Transit Custom can detect if there is an object or pedestrian behind you or a vehicle about to cross at the rear. It will sound an alert and, if you don’t react in time, brake for you.
